This Firetac is pre-owned but in near new condition. Some wear on the G-10 handle towards the top of the handle and some light scratches on the handle (though this could be from the original stonewashing).
The Firetac from Rick Hinderer Knives is a sleek gentleman's folder that slims down the XM-18 while keeping all the features expected for a well rounded EDC folder. The ergonomics of the handle are well designed with curves in the proper areas for a comfortable fit for any hand size. The pocket clip can be adjusted for tip up or tip down carry and a lanyard hole is provided at the base of the handle. While the knife only has a thumb disc for opening, the blade opens quickly with its detent setting. The blade edge is maximized by omitting a finger choil.
