Free Shipping (for orders over $100): Free shipping will be via UPS Ground insured unless you are in Hawaii or Alaska. Non-Automatic items will ship to HI or AK via USPS Priority at no extra charge. Automatic Knives must be shipped UPS and are not eligible for free shipping. If UPS is required or desired to HI or AK delivery, a paid UPS option must be selected.

Our return policy is as follows...

I want to return the item for no specific reason: 15% restocking fee not refunded. No returns accepted after 14 days. Items must be in brand new and unused condition. Any markings or scratches will void the return.

The item is defective and I want to exchange it: If we have the item in stock, we will exchange it. Otherwise we will send it to the manufacturer on your behalf for repairs or repair it ourselves if possible. This option is valid for 30 days after purchase. Any markings or scratches will void the exchange.

The item is defective and I don't want it anymore and I don't want anything in exchange: Full refund. A summary of the defect must be declared prior to shipping the item to us. If there is no defect; a 15% restocking fee is not refunded. This option is valid for 30 days after purchase. Any markings or scratches will void the return.

Layaway Feature

Try our layaway feature to get those high end customs you've always wanted!

Our layaway feature allows you to make payments on those more expensive items. We have allowed layaway payments on all items we sell. After all, $275+ for an Ultratech is considered expensive to a lot of people. The layaway process is as follows:.

-The first installment is for 20% of the item; this is non-refundable (we are sorry for this, but it is necessary)
-SECONDARY INSTALLMENTS WILL NOT BE CHARGED AUTOMATICALLY!!!
-You must log in to your account and click on "Layaway Orders". You will be given the option at the bottom of the page to specify the amount of your next installment.
-The number of installments and remaining time is listed in this section.
-Once the last payment is made, the item is yours and will be shipped out ASAP.
-PLEASE NOTE**** All payments made on layaway orders that exceed the 4 month allowable time frame for completion are forfeited. If you feel you will need more than 4 months to pay off your order, please contact us ASAP.
-Payments made after the initial deposit are refundable as long as the layaway is cancelled within the 4 month time period since initially placing the order.

Secure Shopping

The data you transmit and receive from our site is protected by strong public key encryption (called Secure Sockets Layer or SSL). GoDaddy verified our business as legitimate and issued the encryption keys. Usually the status of your encrypted connection can be seen in the URL of a desktop browser. Mobile browsers differ; please consult your browser to find the encryption strength if this is of interest to you.

Our web site is Payment Card Industry (PCI) Compliant. The Hollow Grind LLC has appropriate policies and procedures for dealing with financial data, which are reviewed periodically. Our server undergoes regular testing to ensure that vulnerable software is patched or replaced. We are serious about security.

We do not sell information collected about our customers; explicitly this includes email addresses. If you opt-in, The Hollow Grind will send marketing material to your email address, but we will not sell your email address, cross-market for another company, or have another company cross-market for us.

Price Protection

Since it is sometimes difficult to set the right price on these hard to find knives, we are now offering a 30-day price protection policy that will protect all our customers from paying higher prices.

If you see the same item being advertized and sold by an authorized dealer for less within 30-days of your original purchase (some restrictions apply), we will refund the difference. Feel free to purchase from us knowing that you will be guaranteed the lowest price available for 30 days after your purchase. With this new policy, you don't have to waste your time finding the knife you want at the lowest price; now you can purchase the knife you want right away from us and find the cheaper price later at your convenience.

Manufacturer discount restriction: Price protection is not valid on items that were discounted by the manufacturer.

Clearance/sale restriction: Clearance or sale items on this or other authorized dealer websites are excluded from this policy; however, we may be able to match their sale price. Please inquire with us in this situation. If we can match the price, we will.

No-stock restriction: In order to price match an item, the competing website must advertize a lower price and have the item in stock (or have proof of the item being in stock within the past 30-days).

Consignment

Sometimes you have a knife (or a whole collection of them) and need somewhere to sell it. With consignment, you get to set the price and we will offer the item for sale on your behalf. Contact us for details.

International Shipping

You are responsible: If you are an international customer, please know that we can not accept the risks associated with international shipments. We will not knowingly ship overseas. You will consider that our obligation to deliver the item will be met when the item arrives at the ship-to address supplied by you on the invoice. If you have hired a shipping forwarder, you agree they will be considered an agent of yours and you further designate receipt by them as having received the item personally.

Price Mistakes

Mistakes happen. We reserve the right to cancel any order that was made on any item with an incorrectly typed price.

Coupons

Coupons, promotions, and discounts cannot be combined at any time. Each order is manually processed and we will contact the purchaser prior to release of the shipment if multiple promotions are used. For example, percentage off coupons cannot be used on sale items; this applies even if our software allows such an order to be placed.

Shipment Insurance

We ship all packages with full insurance; if something should happen in transit, please contact us so that a claim can be filed. Insurance claims will be handled on our end and refunds or replacements during this time will be issued immediately after an investigation has been completed by the carrier. This may take up to 7 days to complete. If a refund or replacement is needed during this time; please contact us so that we can do our best to resolve this matter. This policy does not apply to international orders.

If you are shipping items to us, please purchase insurance. We can not accept responsibility for items before we have received them. Shippers do loose, miss-deliver and damage packages. If you do not purchase insurance, you acknowledge that you are responsible in case items are lost / stolen / damaged / devalued while in transit.

Terms and Conditions

We will not sell knives or ship or ship to anyone under 18 years of age.

You affirm that you have verified your eligibility to purchase, receive and possess the items which you are ordering under the laws which apply to you.

IN COMPLIANCE WITH FEDERAL STATUTES:
Please read carefully. By placing an order with us, you agree that you meet any or all of the following criteria
Federal law prohibits shipment of automatic knives across state lines, with the following exceptions:

1. to civilian or Armed Forces supply or procurement officers and employees of the Federal Government ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in connection with the activities of the Federal Government;
2. to supply or procurement officers of the National Guard, the Air National guard, or militia of a state, territory or the District of Columbia ordering, procuring, or purchasing such knives in the connection with the activities of such organization;
3. to supply or procurement officers or employees of the municipal government of the District of Columbia or the government of any State or Territory, or any county, city or other political subdivision of a State or Territory;
4. to manufacturers of such knives or bona fide dealers therein in connection with any shipment made pursuant of an order from any person designated in paragraphs (1), (2), and (3).

Hollow Grind, LLC will sell no such knives to any individual without the above conditions being met.

It is the responsibility of the buyer, not the seller, to ascertain, and obey, all applicable local, state, federal and international laws in regard to the possession, and use, of any item purchased from Hollow Grind, LLC. All equipment is sold subject to public law 90-351, title III, U.S.D., Section 2511, and any local, state or federal ordinances. Consult your local and state laws before ordering if you are in doubt. Absolutely no sales to minors. By placing an order, the buyer represents that the products ordered will be used in a lawful manner and that the he/she is of legal age. Hollow Grind, LLC will not be held liable for the misuse of any product purchased from us or any of our distributors. Also as no product is 100% effective against attack, Hollow Grind, LLC assumes no responsibility if a product purchased from us is not effective in preventing bodily injury, dismemberment or death.
