Details
This version of the UTX-85 features a DLC Damascus blade, black hardware, and black handle. This "shadow" version has all engravings and logos hidden with a DLC coating making it very covert.
The UTX-85 was created following the Ultratech for those who demanded a similar knife but in a smaller package. At 85% of the size of a standard Ultratech, the UTX-85 (and the Daytona) have the best blade to handle ratio, are easy to operate due to a smaller spring, and are more easily carried without being too obtrusive. The UTX-85 maintains the Ultratechs operation where the internal spring is at rest until operated.
