This UTX-85 is a Signature Series and has an all black front cover (no logo), DLC hardware, and DLC blade. Each knife is serial numbered for this specific run.
Please note blade steel is now CTS-204P and may differ than on the knife in the photo.
The UTX-85 was created following the Ultratech for those who demanded a similar knife but in a smaller package. At 85% of the size of a standard Ultratech, the UTX-85 (and the Daytona) have the best blade to handle ratio, are easy to operate due to a smaller spring, and are more easily carried without being too obtrusive. The UTX-85 maintains the Ultratechs operation where the internal spring is at rest until operated.
