With a lightweight and smooth aluminum handle, large button, and strong pocket clip, the knife is a pleasure to use on a daily basis. The large and robust blade can handle many uses from daily cutting tasks to personal defense. This knife is a dual action automatic where the blade fires and retracts with the slide of the button.This Microtech Executive Scarab is equipped with a DE-S asymmetrical double edge blade. Once reserved for the customs, this blade style is unique and offers a nice drop point bottom edge with a wharncliffe style top edge. Two blade styles on one knife is hard to beat.
