The Microtech Whale Shark is new flipper that can also be used with the thumb stud. The flipping action is smooth and effortless; with a slight flick of the wrist, the blade swings open faster than any automatic. The handle consists of 30k layer carbon fiber and is molded for a comfortable grip. The lock bar is made of titanium and has a grooved pattern with a replaceable plate where it engages the blade.The FULL CUSTOM Whaleshark features a glossy/reflective fire (bronze) colored stonewash hand ground blade, fire (bronze) color hardware, and "Lightning Strike" carbon fiber handle. The lightning strike carbon fiber has embedded copper wire and is used on aircraft.The Cowry-Y steel is a high quality steel with excellent edge retension. This piece is highly unique and is exceptionally refined.
