Microtech's DOC is their newest folder that was a joint effort with Strider Knives. The knife comes in a double action or manual flipper configuration. The double action version can be operated by the oversized thumb stud or the button. The flipper version functions smoothly and effortlessly. The handle is made of 30k layer carbon fiber with a recessed area and dimples for grip. Oversized jimping is also provided on the back of the blade and rear of the handle for grip.The blade is securely locked in place with a titanium lock bar and steel insert. A pocket clip is provided; the knife rides high on the pocket for quicker retrieval.As this is a custom knife, the blade is hand ground and the pocket clips shows both "A. Marfione" and "M. Strider".
