The following is based on word of mouth information and may or may not be 100% accurate. These knives are not considered to be official Microtech products but were purchased at the Microtech booth at the East Coast Custom Knife Show on 3/16/2018.
Vero Machine Industries is a company out of Vero Beach Florida that was originally tasked with making small parts and handles for Microtech in the 90s. These leftover Mini UDT parts were acquired by a Florida company from Vero Machine Industries during their liquidation sale and were then fitted with hand ground blades by a skilled knifemaker.
These knives, although purchased from the Microtech booth, carry no Microtech warranty. Repairs will be conducted by the original knifemaker for a fee.
