The S.A.U. Tan (Special Assignment Unit Tanto) was developed for a team leader of the Phoenix SAU or SWAT. The knife is strong, simple, designed for heavy use, and is very low profile. The knife combines a tanto tip for penetration with an American drop point for general purpose. The pointed pommel is hardened for breaking tempered glass.The knife comes with a kydex sheath.
