This custom Koschei features a copper slotted handle that has been aged with a chemical patina The hardware is black DLC, including the central cage which is visible through the handle slots. The pocket clip and pocket clip fillter tab are anodized green to match the aesthetic of oxidized copper. The blade is co-star of this show featuing a Baker Forge Stainless GoMai damascus blade. This knife is stunning in both the closed or open position. The cross bar lock has jimping on its surface and can be unlocked easily without needing to pull the lock back on both sides.

The Heretic Knives Koschei is a crossbar lock folder made to be used and carried. Extremely fidgety folder that you won't want to put down. The crossbar lock operates effortlessly, the blade glides open and closed, and the handle is thin without being too thin. Definitely a knife you can carry and use and be happy about. Jimping is on the blade spine and rear of the handle to add texture when using forward or reverse grips. A curve at the front of the handle continues into the heel of the blade to provide a point to choke up on the knife for fine cutting tasks. The slats along the handle spine add texture for increasing grip.

All in all, the Koschei is a fantastic folder if you are looking for a fidgety and highly usable knife.
