The Recon-040 is the larger version of their Recon-035 OTF knife. The Recon-040 feels large without being massive or disproportionate. The larger handle contains a larger blade; yet the action is similar to the smaller Recon-035. In fact, we are able to easily retract the blade using our index finger. That is how smooth the action is on these knives. There is also an embedded glassbreaker at the base of the handle along with a lanyard loop.
The pocket clip is reversible! (lefties of the world rejoice).
