The concept for the makora evolved from the famous Microtech Ultratech design. It has been field tested and proven over several years. This design incorporates many features, which have been desired and specified by users who prefer this highly effective tool, over any other. The MAKORA's spring remains in an "at rest" position at all times except when deployed. With no fatigue on the compressed spring when the knife is not in use, this gives the users the reliability and confidence that when the release is pushed, the knife will operate. Other features include: quick and efficient one handed open and close action, carbon fiber inlays on both sides of the handle, an ambidextrous pocket clip, a replacement glass breaker, tamper resistant screws, and a machined grip with a large actuating button for easy operation with gloves. The MAKORA is designed exclusively for personal applications by authorized personnel only.

Notes on this particular knife:
This knife is a pre-owned item that has light scratches in the carbin fiber inlays.  These scratches did not show up well in the pictures but in the right angle of light are visible.  This knife does not come with a sheath (it was not included in the original box).
This knife features the arrow pattern on the blade indicating that is a first production run.
