Details
The Hyda from Heretic Knives is a single action out-the-front knife where the blade is ejected with a simple press of a button. The Hydra, unlike other single action OTF knives, is designed to be carried and has a unique safety feature for this purpose. The button is hidden under a hinged cover that moves to the side when ready to operate. With practice, the button can be pressed very quickly.
Heretic Knives was founded by Tony Marfione Jr. of Microtech fame who wanted to pursue his own vision for high quality American made knives. With a small shop and years of experience, TJ has been able to create truly wonderful knives from fixed blades to flippers to automatics. Always innovating, Heretic Knives will continue to produce highly functional works of art with clever designs.
