The Manticore series from Heretic Knives is available in large and small sizes but packs a punch regardless of the option chosen. The Manticore-X is the larger version with nicely contoured handles, a low-profile but easy to operate button, and a low carry pocket clip. Each knife is USA made by a small team ensuring proper quality control.
This version features a two-tone handle with smooth soft touch black and a hefted flat section along with a black clip, black screws, and a red/black G-10 button. The G-10 button offers a non-slip texture that won't hurt your thumb even after a long period of time. Every OTF knife should have a G-10 button in our opinion.
The action has been refined and the sound this knife makes during operation is addictive.
