This beautiful knife is called the "front flipper" (but is actually more like a top flipper) made by Simon and Jakob Nylund. The brothers are full-time knifemakers from Finland. The blade and the backspacer both are made from the brothers sole authorship Elmax core stainless damascus, the clip and pivot are the Brothera sole authorship forge welded titanium. The scale overlays are Fat Carbons Arctic Storm carbon fiber. The blade runs on a bushing pivot system with Skiff bearing, and the very unique locking system is both snappy and satisfying, it uses a pin that works both as the detent and lock face giving this knife a very snappy and positive flipping action that almost feels like it's assisted. All of there knives are completely handmade and are practically 1 offs.
