Details
The Apex from Guardian Tactical is the next model release after the Recon-035 G2. The Apex is similarly sized to the Recon-035 and adds a bit of styling to an already solid model. The Apex features block pattern milling into the rear of the handle to increase grip and a carbon fiber inlay on both sides that is removable. As other inlay materials become available, they can be swapped for a custom look. The pocket clip is reversible for either left or right hand carry.
The Action is what you would expect from a Guardian Tactical. The slide operates smoothly yet there is still enough strength for the blade to deploy swiftly and with a strong engagement.
The new X-Drive system adds to the stability of the blade during operation and lockup. Blade play is minimal in the open position. The control button has more aggressive milling and is extremely anti-slip.
