Details
The glassbreaker replacement plug has a blunt top to prevent injuries when the knife is clipped to your pocket. The plug is bead blasted to match the hardware of non-tactical Microtech knives. The plug will fit in Ultratechs, UTX-85s, and Troodons that were manufactured in 2008 and later. The plug was not tested in earlier knives but may still fit (not verified).
Do not over tighten the plug as the threads may become stripped. Blue Loctite may be required. The warranty may become void if the glassbreaker is removed. Microtech reserves the right to deny or charge for repairs of modified out of warranty knives.
This plug was NOT manufactured by Microtech and was made available by a 3rd party.
