Emerson / Kershaw Joint Project - Auto Commander - Black Plain Blade
#emeacommbt
A joint project between Emerson and Kershaw, the classic Commander knife has been converted into an automatic in a very clever way. The auto version lives up to the reputation of the classic Commander with S30V steel, a safe but quick and reliable auto mechanism, and a 6061-T6 Aluminum handle with G-10 Overlays.
The auto mechanism is clever in that it is not a button but rather a slide that must be slid to the rear of the knife in order to deploy the blade. The button also moves top to bottom in order to lock or unlock the mechanism.
Steel: S30-V
Handle: 6061-T6 aluminum with G-10 overlay
Lock: G&G Hawk Crossfire Mechanism
Blade Length: 3.75 inches
Overall Length: 9.00 inches
