This OB has been customized in house. The handle was modified so that the knife can be flipped open by pressing on the exposed part of the blade tang at the pivot, the handle has been anodized, a lanyard attached, and the lockbar modified for easier unlocking. The blade was also lightly acid washed.
The OB (Onna-Bugeisha) is a modern style front flipper with an aggressive tanto style blade. The handle is very slender with some nice sculpting. Gripping the handle is comfortable and secure despite its small size. While a thumb disc is present on the handle, operating the blade with one hand using the thumb disc is challenging and the blade is easier to deploy using the front flipper method. Though with some practice both can be achieved.
Each knife comes in a hardshell case and the knife features a pocket clip and lanyard loop.
