The CRKT M16 has been a popular EDC knife for a very long time. After hundreds, if not thousands, of requests for an automatic version, CRKT finally released this knife. The knife retains all the ergonomics of the original M16 but adds a push button and safety lock for quick deployment.The action of this knife is weaker than other automatic knives from comparable manufacturers; however, the action is smooth and consistent. Additionally, there is no risk of this knife being too powerful in that there is little to no risk of the knife flying out of your hand upon deployment (note: do not hold the knife with only two fingers or it will).The black tanto blade will offer advantages such as two cutting edges and a reinforced tip.
