This knife was customized in-house by our team. The following was done: 1. Handles have been tumbled 2. The backspacer was replaced with a smoothed FatCarbon backsplacer with lanyard hole. 3. The pocket clip was given a hand rubbed satin finish. 4. The micarta inlay was replaced with a FatCarbon inlay. 5. The flats of the blade have bee hand rubbed to a satin finish. 6. A lanyard with bead was installed.
The Chaves Knives Ultramar series is their foreign manufactured line of knives that echo the traditional custom knives Chaves American Made is known for. While not American made, these Ultramar knives have a quality and fit and finish that cannot be denied.
