This Bad Idea was customized by our in-house team (RP24 Customs) to bring out the potential of this piece. All hardware components and the blade were ZirBlast and then given a hand rubbed satin finish. This includes all screws, pivot emblem, button, and backspacer. What you get is a nice contrast with the black handle making this piece come to life. The action was cleaned and tuned and the blade centering is perfect. And we thought a small lanyard was in order to complete the look.
The Bad Idea from Blackside Customs is their first automatic folder adding to their growing list of knife offerings. Maintaining the Blackside Customs aesthetics, you'll find their signature grooves milled into the handle. Although compact,, this knife is no slouch featuring a drop point blade with an edge ready for anything. The ramped spine with jimping provides a point to apply pressure when needed. The deep handle choil locks this knife in your hand with no risk of slipping. Although there is no enlarged choil at the base of the blade, choking up on the blade is possible for finer cutting tasks.
The knife features a custom pivot with the Blackside Customs logo and milled pocket clip for tip up carry. The automatic action is quick and locks up solid with zero bounce.
