Black Bear Knives is a new manufacturer whose claim to fame is the new A.C.E style of sharpening their knives. The A.C.E. stands for "Asymetrical Cutting Edge" and creates a razor sharp instrument for a multitude of tasks. The knives feature G-10 or Carbon Fiber handles and NO liners of any kind. The locking mechanism is a spring bar. The locking spring bar is secured into an indentation made in one side of the handle. The knives are extremely lightweight but powerful. Many configurations are available.
The Guardian features a contoured G-10 or Carbon Fiber handle, a Tanto style plain edge, and the A.C.E. cutting edge. The knife features a gold colored tip up, removable, and reversible pocket clip.
